Klementyna Pozniak is an M.A. candidate at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service at the Center for Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies and a recipient of the McHenry Global Public Service Fellowship. Before beginning her degree program at Georgetown, she worked in Poland with Krakow-based NGOs supporting rebuilding of Jewish life in Poland and, after February 2022, refugee relief and humanitarian aid. In 2020, she graduated magna cum laude from Baldwin Wallace University with her B.A. in Communication Arts and Philosophy. She speaks Polish and English fluently and is refining her Ukrainian language skills. Her research interests include Poland-Ukraine relations, Poland and the European Union, the Jewish revival in Poland and humanitarian relief.
