Kamen Kirov, originally from Titusville, New Jersey, received his Bachelor’s degree in international relations from King’s College London in 2021. He has completed two internships in the Bulgarian MFA – one in Sofia and the other in the country’s embassy in London – where he gained a deeper understanding of the realities of foreign service and diplomacy. His research interests include the historical transformation of states and societies from pre-modern to modern to post-modern and the role of nationalism in said transformations.
