Camille Watson is a Third Culture Kid (TCK), having grown up in Donetsk, Ukraine; Krasnodar, Russia; and Kandern, Germany. She received her B.A. at Baylor University with a double major in Russian and Professional Writing & Rhetoric. In her undergraduate thesis, she proposed that TCK’s functionally have their own culture through their shared lived experiences. Upon graduation, she completed a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) in Baku, Azerbaijan. At Georgetown, Camille plans to focus her study on Central Asia and the Caucasus, as well as complete a certificate in Refugees, Migration, and Humanitarian Emergencies. As a Pickering Fellow, she looks forward to joining the foreign service upon graduation.
