Angela Boland is from Belleville, New Jersey, and attended the University of New Haven, where she graduated with dual bachelorโ€™s degrees in National Security and Political Science and a minor in Russian. During her undergraduate studies, she studied abroad in France and the Netherlands, studying comparative global migration trends and security management respectively, and completed an extensive honors thesis examining the efficacy of United Nationsโ€™ humanitarian crisis response frameworks in conflict zones. At Georgetown, she is interested in taking advantage of the interdisciplinary focus of area studies to further research the role and reach of international organizations in Eastern Europe and Eurasia.
