Announcing the Khodorkovsky Foundation Fellowship Fund

Anastasia Popova, Vice President of Khodorkovsky Foundation US, speaking at the launch event
CERES is pleased to announce a generous gift from the Khodorkovsky Foundation to establish the Khodorkovsky Foundation Fellowship Fund. Over the next four years, CERES will award Khodorkovsky Foundation Fellowships to outstanding students from each incoming class in our Master of Arts in Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies (MAERES) program. These fellowships will give our students the resources to pursue rigorous language study, research training, coursework and deep engagement with the region. We are deeply grateful to the Foundation for its generosity and its confidence in our students and our mission.
CERES has trained students to understand this part of the world since 1959, pairing regional expertise with the language and methods skills that serious research demands. Studying Eurasia matters now more than ever, and it has rarely been harder. Support like this helps a new generation of scholars and practitioners keep building that knowledge.
