Oliver is an early-career UK diplomat excited to be embarking on the MAERES program after finishing a wonderful four-year posting to Vilnius, Lithuania. He plans to focus his diplomatic career on Ukraine, Russia and Central Asian countries. Having spent much of his free time in Vilnius enthusiastically learning about his surroundings through history and food (special mentions for Lithuanian herring and dairy products), Oliver intends to take a similar approach to life in DC.
