Camille Watson

Camille Watson is a Third Culture Kid (TCK), having grown up in Donetsk, Ukraine; Krasnodar, Russia; and Kandern, Germany. She received her B.A. at Baylor University with a double major in Russian and Professional Writing & Rhetoric. Her 400-page nonfiction undergraduate thesis about TCK culture was the first runner-up for Best Thesis of the Year. Upon graduation, she completed a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts in Baku. At Georgetown, Camille has focused her studies on memory politics and the evolving impact of the Russo-Ukrainian war on transnational security, as well as completing a certificate in Refugees, Migration, and Humanitarian Emergencies. As a Pickering Fellow, she hopes to join the diplomatic force as a Consular Foreign Service Officer upon graduation.
