A North Carolina native, Dale Bass completed his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he studied Political Science and Russian with a History minor. In his time as an undergrad, he spent a summer in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Following his graduation, Dale accepted a prestigious fellowship with the UNC Chancellor’s office where he worked as an internal consultant throughout different departments across campus. He is pursuing an honors certificate in International Business Diplomacy and his research interests include energy security and Russian political economy. He has served as intern in the United States Senate, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) on the Reconnecting Asia project, and the Office of South Central European Affairs and the Office of Caucasus Affairs and Regional Conflict at the United States Department of State.
