WWII Hero and Georgetown Professor Profiled by Google Cultural Institute

The Google Cultural Institute has launched a website profiling Jan Karski (24 April 1914 – 13 July 2000). Karski, was Polish WWII hero and later Georgetown University professor. This website is a great resource leading up to the Jan Karski US Centennial Campaign 2014, which will kick-off with the re-release of Karski's book Story of a Secret State by Georgetown University Press on March 15th. In 1942 and 1943 Karski reported to the Polish government in exile and the Western Allies on the situation in German-occupied Poland, especially the destruction of the Warsaw Ghetto, and the secretive German-Nazi extermination camps.
