Student Life
Washington is a cosmopolitan city with world-renowned museums, important historical landmarks and vibrant neighborhoods. CERES students benefit from the diverse array of educational, cultural and social activities throughout the city. Studying in Washington, DC provides a unique opportunity for CERES students to access research institutions, US Government agencies and international organizations through which policies toward the region are developed. The program’s location in the nation’s capital allows CERES students to explore current issues through on-campus lectures and conferences as well as off-campus events and internships.
Housing
A majority of CERES students live within a short distance of campus. The Office of Off-Campus Housing website is a useful resource for housing listings near the University. Students can view listings by categories including size, location cost and amenities. In addition, the site contains a Living Guide (pdf), designed to help students with their decisions about living in the Washington, DC area.
