Sufian Zhemukhov is Deputy Director and Senior Associate in International Relations at Kabardino-Balkar Institute of Humanitarian Research. His research interests include U.S.-Caucasus relations, history, anthropology, and philosophical thought of the Caucasus. For 2005-2006 he was a Fulbright Scholar at the Kennan Institute in Washington, DC.
Previously, he worked as editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Kabardino-Balkarskaya Pravda”, lectured and worked in various positions in the Department of Social and Humanities Education at Kabardino-Balkarian State University.
