Certificate Programs

Graduate Certificate

Students in the graduate programs of the School of Foreign Service (SFS) and the McDonough School of Business may earn a certificate in Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies. The curriculum for the certificate is individually designed in consultation with the student's home program. The certificate requires 15 credits and evidence of proficiency in an appropriate language of the region. Click here for more information.
 
Undergraduate Certificate
 
Undergraduate students, regardless of school or program of study, are eligible for the certificate in Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies. The certificate complements an ongoing degree program and is awarded upon the successful completion of the following minimum requirements:
• six semester courses (18 credits) chosen from selected course offerings in economics, history, culture and government
• two years of intensive language study appropriate to the region
• completed research project for the interdisciplinary colloquium
